Steamboat Winter Carnival

Now in its 112th year, the Steamboat Winter Carnival is one of Coloradoâs most iconic winter events. Featuring ski-jumping through flaming hoops, shovel races down snow-filled streets, fireworks, and Nordic events, this unique festival blends community tradition and winter sport in the heart of Steamboat Springs.
Winter Wonder Grass Festival
Dates: February 28 â March 2, 2025
Location: Steamboat Resort

WinterWonderGrass brings together bluegrass music, craft beer, and mountain culture. Set at Steamboat Resort, this 3-day festival includes world-class musical acts, Colorado breweries, and a family-friendly atmosphere, making it a must-attend event for visitors and locals alike.
Steamboat Marathon, Half & 10K

The Steamboat Marathon is a breathtaking run through the Yampa Valley. Recognized as one of the most scenic races in the country, this event draws athletes from across the nation to race a full marathon, half marathon, or 10K along Steamboatâs riverside roads.
Yampa River Festival

Art in the Park

Art in the Park is Steamboatâs largest arts festival, showcasing over 150 regional artists, live performances, food trucks, and childrenâs crafts. Hosted in scenic West Lincoln Park, this event is a celebration of mountain creativity and community spirit.
Hot Air Balloon Rodeo

Fourth of July Celebration
